The new Multifunctional health and leisure center center consists of 3 zones. The first sports area is a 50-meter-long pool with 10 swimming lanes that meets the requirements of the International Swimming Federation (FINA) Near the 50-meter-long pool, there is a smaller 25 m pool, with 2 swimming lanes, for children's swimming lessons. More than 500 spectators will be able to watch the events in the sports area. The spa area is equipped and can function independently from other spaces. The spa area can accommodate at least 300 visitors at a time.
The main aim of the project to grant the right to a private partner (concessionaire) to fully equip the Multifunctional Center. The accounting of the engineering infrastructure of the Multifunctional Center must be separated from the Žalgiris arena. Technological equipment must be installed in the pool. The pool and its common areas must be fully equipped with furniture.
The concessionaire will perform the management and administration of the Multifunctional Center (including technical maintenance services, communal services, cleaning of the building and its territory, waste management services), provision of public services (non-formal education services) and commercial activities related to sports and wellness and services.

Current situation
- On 13 September 2022 Kaunas City Municipality Council approved the decision that the project will be implemented as the Public-Private Partnership.
- On 25July 2022 Central Project Management Agency evaluated socio-economic benefits of the partnership project.
- On 2022 June the investment project was prepared.
