Description:
The Kairiai military camp will occupy approximately 80 hectares. Around 1,526 soldiers will be stationed here. The camp will be designated for the Lithuanian Armed Forces Motorized Infantry Brigade "Žemaitija" and the conscripts serving in its ranks. The military camp will include residential, administrative, sports, storage, and technical buildings, as well as transportation and helicopter pads. The total building area of the developed infrastructure will be about 67,000 square meters, the area of engineering structures will be around 30,000 square meters, and the paved area will cover approximately 244,000 square meters.

Current situation
- On 11 December 2024 the Government of the Republic of Lithuania approved the decision that the project will be implemented as the Public-Private Partnership.
- On 5 December 2024 Central Project Management Agency provided a conclusion on the PPP application.
- In 2024 November an investment project was prepared.
