Description:
The Rūdninkai military town will occupy an area of about 170 hectares. It is planned to build 120 different buildings, occupying about 335 thousand square meters of territory. This military campus will be equipped with residential, administrative, sports, storage, technical buildings, transport parking lots and helipads. The military campus will be dedicated to German military forces, as well as Lithuanian soldiers.

Current situation

- On 11 December 2024 the Government of the Republic of Lithuania made a decision on the purposiveness of a PPP implementation.
- On 5 December 2024 Central Project Management Agency provided a conclusion on the PPP application.
- In 2024 November an investment project was prepared.
